Program
Annual competition to recognize and reward outstanding high school-age musicians in three divisions: voice, piano, orchestral instruments. The competition is a Saturday in April 2011.
Prizes: The winner in each division will receive: a cash award of $150,
a gift certificate from Pender's Music Company, and a performance at a Denton Bach Society event.
Eligibility
any serious high school or home-schooled student of voice, piano, or orchestral instruments.
Repertoire: two challenging compositions of contrasting styles, approximately 10 minutes in total length, approved by the student's teacher and DBS audition committee.
